indexgap notify

command

Push new and changed URLs to IndexNow.

Submits only what changed since the last run, using the manifest, so a thousand-page site does not resubmit itself daily.

Usage

usage: indexgap notify [-h] [--site SITE] [--home HOME] [--config CONFIG]
                       [--profile PROFILE] --key KEY
                       [--key-location KEY_LOCATION] [--out-dir OUT_DIR]
                       [--key-dir KEY_DIR] [--write-key] [--send] [--first]
                       [--manifest MANIFEST] [--offline] [--lang {en,ru}]
                       [root]

positional arguments:
  root                  directory of pages; taken from indexgap.json by
                        default

options:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  --site SITE           the full site address; taken from indexgap.json by
                        default
  --home HOME           URL of the home page; defaults to --site itself
  --config CONFIG       path to indexgap.json; looked for next to the pages by
                        default
  --profile PROFILE     content type: catalog, events, ugc, product. Changes
                        thresholds and which checks run — see `indexgap
                        profiles`
  --key KEY             the IndexNow key: 8–128 latin characters and digits
                        that you invent yourself
  --key-location KEY_LOCATION
                        URL of the key file, if it is not at the root
  --out-dir OUT_DIR     publish directory
  --key-dir KEY_DIR     where to put the key file — this is the SITE ROOT
  --write-key           create the key file
  --send                actually submit; without it this is a dry run
  --first               first submission: there is no manifest yet and the
                        whole site should go
  --manifest MANIFEST   path to the manifest; next to indexgap.json by default
  --offline             do not fetch the participant registry, use the built-
                        in list
  --lang {en,ru}        output language: en or ru. By default from
                        INDEXGAP_LANG or the system locale, otherwise English
